TROOP PHOTO ALBUM

On Saturday, February 9, the Troop sent 3 patrols to compete in the Dan Beard District Klondike Derby at Goose Pond Scout Reservation. The weather was cold, and the Derby start was delayed a couple hours because of the snow storm the day before, but everyone had fun competing in Scout skills. Once again the troop continued its tradition (8+ years) of supporting the fire-building station at the event. Troop leaders Len Kalinowski, Griff Lewis, Rick Galassi, Dave Minner, Steve Vituszynski, John Maza, Bob Kokinda, George Penn, Ken Srebro, and Frank Klassner helped out on the trail and at the fire station, where each patrol had to build a leave-no-trace fire and cook a meal of their choice. Participating Scouts included: Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Jake, Joshua, Hunter, Jeff, Adam, Karl, Tyler, Rob, Patrick, Andrew, Gino, Josh, Jackson, and Tim.
