TROOP PHOTO ALBUM

During the June 24-26 weekend, Troop 21 held a campout at Ricketts Glen State Park. We set up our tents on Friday evening, had a quick dinner, then had fun at the campfire before turning in for the night. On Saturday we cooked breakfast, then headed out for the trail. The weather was overcast and we had some drizzle and rain, but not too much. On the hike we saw about 20 waterfalls (one was over ninety feet high!). Even though the hike only covered about 3.5 miles it was a challenging time keeping up with the steep trails. By mid afternoon we were ready for a swim in Lake Jean! The chicken barbecue that evening tasted great, and seeing the huge luna moths that night was pretty cool. Sunday morning came a little too soon, but we managed to pack up and get home in good order. The following scouts took part in the trip: Tom, Hunter, Matt, Matt, Steve, Tyler, Sam, Gino, Adam, Karl, Adam, and Ian. The adults on the trip were Scoutmaster Griff Lewis, and leaders Steven Klassner, Kathy Lewis, Dave Minner, Frank Klassner, and, in his assistant scoutmaster debut, Julian Maza.
