On Scout Sunday, February 6, at the 11:00 AM Mass at St. Mary's, we recognized the promotion of Ian Lewis and Julian Maza to the rank of Eagle Scout. After the mass we gathered for an Eagle dinner at the Montdale Country Club. The dinner featured a speech by Jim Naticchi, Dan Beard District Chairman, which everyone enjoyed. Len Kalinowski was toastmaster and Monsignor Pratico offered the grace and benediction. Julian was the third of three brothers in his family to earn the Eagle Scout rank. It should be noted that Ian was the boy speaker at the Northeastern Pennsylvania Council Eagle Recognition Dinner in January 2011. Congratulations Ian and Julian!
