TROOP PHOTO ALBUM

On Saturday, February 13, the Iron Horse and Endless Mountains Districts held a joint Klondike Derby at Goose Pond Scout Reservation. Our troop's three teams (Good Burgers Patrol, That Patrol, and Walrus Patrol) competed with over 40 other teams in fire building, scout history, first aid, knot tying, nature, orienteering, and other scout skills. It was a bit cold with the wind coming off the heavily frozen pond, but everyone stayed warm with all the activity. Julian, Dominick, Nick, Ian, Philip, Steve, Tony, Bruce, Karl, Tyler, Patrick, Adam, Tim, Gino, Rico, and Joey were participating scouts, and John Maza, Len Kalinowski, Bob Buchinski, Joe Faltynowicz, Rico Galassi, Gary Johnston, Frank Klassner, Griff Lewis, Kathy Lewis, Joe Piela, and Drew Yurkanin were participating troop leaders, many of whom worked at the fire-building station. The whole troop celebrated in style when we heard the Walrus Patrol came in first place in the senior division! Way to go, guys!
