TROOP PHOTO ALBUM

This picture was taken in July 1963 at Camp Edward in Poyntelle, PA. It shows our troop gathered around the campfire in the Hemlock campsite. The Mid-Valley Council and the Dan Beard Council were merged in 1962 to form the Forest Lakes Council. Camp Edward was the council camp for Mid-Valley Council, and Goose Pond was the council camp for Dan Beard Council. Both camps were operated as summer camps by the Forest Lakes Council from 1962 to 1969. Camp Edward ceased operations as a summer camp after 1969.
