1954 Daniel Boone Patrol Hike
The Daniel Boone patrol held a patrol hike to the Providence Reservoir (aka the Pelix) on June 12, 1954.
Eddie O'Bara, Mickey Rosiecki, George Rowker, and Jackie Wiktor took part. Starting at 6:30 AM they
followed Scott Road up to the Cold Springs (just above where Wegman's is today), then headed to the
Mt. Bethel Church and ate lunch. After another 30 minutes of hiking, they reached the Reservoir.
They came home about 1:00 PM.
